"Tails, buddy, you need to relax! Why don't you take a walk?" Tails was worried about his gear. Sonic suggested he should stop worring so much and relax. "But Sonic, this is huge! We are up against Team Dark tommorow! Don't you know how pushy they are?" Tails told SOnic. "Oh, don't let them get to you. It takes more than brute force to win a race." Knuckles said. Knuckles was the third member of Team Heroes. "Just relax, Tails! We are fine!" SOnic told Tails. "I guess i will take a walk, then. To relax." Tails insisted. "Good boy." Sonic said and pat him on the back. Tails walked out the door and thought about his gear. Was it good enough? Are Shadow and Rouge's gear better? Are they really as pushy as they sound? "WAAAHHHH!!" Tails snapped back to reality. "WAAAHHHH!!" What was that? Tails followed the cry into the woods and found a rabbit perched on a tree stump with her hands covering her face. It was Cream. Tails was uneasy. He didn't know what to do. He walked up to her and tapped her on the shoulder. "Hey, are you okay, Cream?" Tails asked cautiously. Cream turned around and faced him. Her eyes were red and tears were streaming down her face. She looked so sad. "Tails? What are you doing here?" Cream asked, sniffing between her words. "I was out for a walk. Then I heard you crying and I went to see you." Tails answered. "Oh." Cream replied, with tears still runing down her face. "So what's wrong?" Tails asked as he sat down. "Well, we were up against Team Dark a while ago, and they won the first race. Then they started bulling me and pushing me around. But then my team won the next two races, and we are going to face Team Babalyon in a few hours. Team Dark got really mad that they got beat, and started making fun of us. They pushed Amy and Vector aside and tagged me. Amy and Vector tried to stop them, but it was no use. I ran away and came here, and I have been here for the past half hour. I don't know where Amy and Vector are." Cream said. "Oh, I'm so sorry..." Tails said. "It's fine. I understand now. Nobody likes me." Cream said as tears came to her eyes. "That's not true! I like you!" Tails said and froze. Cream's eyes widened and her crying stopped. Why did I say that? Tails thought. That's a secret! "You do, Tails?" asked Cream. "Uhhh, yeah, it's true!" Tails said nervously and blushed a bit. "Oh, Tails, thank you!" Cream said and hugged Tails. "Hey Cream?" Tails said after a few minutes. "Yes, Tails?" Cream said. "When are you facing Team Babalyon?" "CREAM!!!" A voice yelled from the distance. "Huh?" Cream said, looking to where the voice came from. 2 figures were runing towards them. Cream!" A girl's voice called. "Amy? Vector?" Cream said. "Cream, we looked everyone for you! Don't ever do this again!" Vector said. "He's right! We are up against Team Babalyon in 10 minutes! Hurry!" Amy siad, grabbing Cream's hand. "Okay, I'm coming! Let me get my gear." Cream said. "Okay, Cream. Meet us at Magma Rift." Amy told Cream. "Okay! See you!" Cream said as Amy and Vector ran off. "I gotta go, Tails." Cream said. "Alright. Hey Cream?" Tails caught Cream before she left. "Yes, Tails?" Cream turned to face Tails, and was greeted witha fresh kiss right on the lips. Cream nearly jumped back, but closed her eyes and started kissing him right back. After 3 minutes, they unlocked their lips. "Oh, Tails, your so sweet!" Cream said. "Good luck in the next race. You should get going." Tails said. "Right. See you, Tails!" Cream waved to him as she ran to the light if the lava in Magama Rift. Tails smiled. Good luck, Cream.
